I think this picture is a good example of the Great Depressions because it is showing an african american working with really dangerous machines, and at this time, people survived because of their work which wasn't that good. Many of these jobs included risky things people needed to do like working with fire and machines that could kill them. They inhaled many toxic gases and could die of the extra amount of work they did.
